So I beat the latest ratchet and clank game last night. Loads of fun, just like all of them are. It's seriously criminal that Ratchet isn't as big a character as Mario or Sonic. The fact Sony hasn't latched the fuck onto Ratchet and made him an official mascot is baffling. The character is short, fuzzy, likable. marketable as FUCK (The game's flashback or infodumping cutscenes take the form of 50s style cartoons, it's awesome), has great games, and carries a giant weapon! And he has an equally likable and marketable sidekick!

In other news, I think it's funny how everybody, even people who do not like kids, and have no desire whatsoever to have kids, pretty much react to any sort of news where a kid was molested or harmed the same way. It pretty much turns into "If it was my kid I'd kill the guy" every time. I just think it's funny how deeply some things are ingrained into us.

I've been filling in a giant hole in our backyard over the last few days. It's oddly calming, albeit being incredibly exhausting.

My attempts to find another job have so far fallen flat. Apparently I am unable to get my old job back, since there's a hiring freeze. Fuuuuuck.

...I've been thinking of getting a writing journal, if only so I have places to stick head canon and how things I am responsible for work, and such. Maybe I'll work on that later.
